DESCRIPTION
These functions implement string manipulation operations over wide-char- acter strings. For a detailed description, refer to the documents for the respective single-byte counterpart, such as memchr(3). The wcswcs() function is not a part of ISO/IEC 9899:1990 (``ISO C90'') and ISO/IEC 9899/AMD1:1995 (``ISO C90, Amendment 1''), the wcsstr() function is strongly recommended to be used.

STANDARDS
These functions conform to ISO/IEC 9899:1999 (``ISO C99'') and were first introduced in ISO/IEC 9899/AMD1:1995 (``ISO C90, Amendment 1''), with the exception of wcslcat() and wcslcpy(), which are extensions. The wcswcs() function conforms to X/Open Portability Guide Issue 4, Version 2 (``XPG4.2''). NetBSD 7.1.2 May 1, 2009 NetBSD 7.1.2
